- A round hairbrush
- Heat protective serum
- Few clips
Steps to curl your hair with a hair straightener:
You need to perform the following steps to curl your hair:
Step 1
The first step involves applying the heat protective serum throughout your hair. This prevents your hair from getting damaged by the heat of the hair straightener. If your hair is frizzy, make it straight using the straightener. This will save your time and efforts in curling the hair.
Step 2
The next step is to divide your hair into four sections and clamp them with the help of clips. This would ease up your task by choosing one section at a time for curling.
Step 3
Now, heat up the hair straightener until it gets quite warmed up. Keep the heating straightener at a hard non-flammable surface for safety. When you find that straightener is ready to be used, select the portion of hair from the nape of your neck.
Step 4
Hold the section of the hair from the roots near the head. Keep the straightener at least an inch away from your scalp. Now, move the straightener sliding down your hair. When you move the straightener down, twist it round and round to form curls. Just remember to get the tight curls move the straightener very slowly. However, to get the loose curls, move the straightener faster. Repeat the exercise until you get your desired style. Do not place the hot plates of the straightener at any portion of your hair for more than 5 seconds.
Step 5
If you want your hair to sustain the curls for a longer time, use a hair spray on the section of hair, which you have finished the curling with.
Step 6
Now, repeat the same exercise with other sections of your hair too. Use the comb to spread the hair evenly in the hair straightener. Then, apply the last layer of hair spray when you have completed the curling with your desired hairstyle. To get the more attractive look, you can curl some portion of hair around your face as well.
